Vadim Repin - violin

Repin was born in Novosibirsk, Siberia. He was only eleven when he won first prize at the Wienawski International Competition. His first performance with orchestra was at the age of seven and at eleven he gave a recital in St. Petersburg. His international career began at age 17, when he won the Queen Elisabeth Competition.

Vadim Repin performs on the 1708 Ruby Stradivarius violin (by kind permission of the Stradivarius Society of Chicago).
