David Zafer was born in London, England in 1934 where he studied with his father and with Antonio Brosa at the Royal College of Music. After moving to Canada in 1947 he continued studies with Albert Pratz and Elie Spivak. and graduated from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music.
Influencing Teachers: Ivan Galamian, Oscar Shumsky, Leonard Rose, William Primrose.
