Music Festivals - Canada

The Federation of Canadian Music Festivals is an umbrella for 230 local and 10 provincial festivals. Festivals have been operating in Canada since 1908. Winners of certain categories are selected at the local level to compete at Provincial Finals from which winners are selected to proceed to represent each province at the National Finals. All festivals are not-for-profit and involve a large number of sponsors and volunteers.
