CICH 3rd Report shows Canadian children experiencing more stress
The Canadian Institute for Child Health issued a report last August, The Health of Canada's Children: A CICH Profile 3rd Edition, in which parents indicated a significant number of children aged 4 to 11 years exhibit emotional symptoms of nervousness, frequent crying, fearfulness and anxiety. The report also indicated a high prevalence of depressive disorder. The report shows a wide variety of trends and is available for purchase at the CICH site. A number of summary fact sheets about each province and about specific topics are available for free viewing.
