Peg Albrecht
Profile
Peg Albrect is currently Professor of Flute at the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto. Formerly she was teaching at the Royal Conservatory of Music. Many of her private students have continued on to university to major in music education, performance and composition. Several are now playing in symphonies in Canada and the USA.
Ms. Albrecht holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from St. Olaf College (Northfield, Minnesota) and a Master of Music degree from the University of Toronto. She has performed with the Norwegian Broadcasting Orchestra (Oslo, Norway), Stratford Festival and the Canadian Opera Company.
